Drawing inspiration from Mitch Coleborn's favorite Toucan, Chilli designed the Rare Bird with the dimensions of a 5'4 length and 5'6 width and thickness. The result? The board features a single concave under the front foot, transitioning to a double concave and slight vee out through the back fin, ensuring smooth rail-to-rail transitions. By positioning the wide point a bit forward, Chilli has enhanced the board's ability to flow gracefully in smaller waves. Its medium rail and pulled-in thumb tail add versatility and forgiveness to the board, making it a joy to ride in various conditions.
