The Hot Knife lives up to its name, slicing through waves like a hot knife through butter. Combining the best elements of two popular Chilli surfboard models (Peri Peri & Stepdown 2), this board emerges as a full-figured all-rounder shortboard. It has undergone extensive testing with Chilli's prominent team rider, Jay Davies, ensuring it delivers an easy and forgiving ride in all conditions.

The Hot Knife features a classic, slightly fuller shortboard outline up front, with a notable slight hip at the side fin mark. This design creates a straighter rail towards the tail, promoting driving speed. Complementing the hip is a slightly wider rounded squaretail pod, allowing for fast yet predictable turns.

The board boasts a fast medium entry rocker that transitions into a smooth and flat exit. The main focus in the rocker design is speed, with just the right amount of curve for seamless adjustments between turns. Taking inspiration from the much-loved Peri Peri model, the Hot Knife adopts a single concave through the nose, which smoothly transitions into a double concave between the feet. The blended vee exits the tail, facilitating incredible speed from take-off and ensuring forgiving rail-to-rail transitions. This contour setup also provides a sense of control and stability as you complete your turns.
